minella majenu

Minella Majenu was born and raised in the North-West Region of Cameroon. She attended St Bede’s Secondary School and St Augustine’s High School, where her deep sense of service and empathy was birthed. Minella started out as a Choir/Music prefect back in secondary school, which explains her passion in singing. She later moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology from Texas A&M and University of Arkansas, respectively. She is currently pursuing a medical degree. She enjoys reading, travelling and volunteers at her church and local shelters. Minella believes that Education is a fundamental and basic right that should be rendered to all, especially the children – tomorrow’s leaders. Over the last couple of years, she has been actively working with Hope4Children Cameroon as the Goodwill Ambassador, to foster education for underprivileged children – especially girls in the underserved communities in Cameroon, which led to her being, crowned Miss Cameroon USA 2017-2018. Minella hopes to continue championing the work of the organization in this role and beyond. As Mother Teresa once said – “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving”
